How do I join?

Is there a driving section?

Yes; we started it in 2023 and are slowly building capacity. Send your details to enquiries@rospabikers.club and confirm that you are looking for driving training.

What happens once I join RoSPA West Midlands Riders ?

You will be allocated a tutor who will liaise with you directly to arrange convenient times
to meet up for training rides.

During your rides, the tutor will complete a training record with feedback and actions plans.

You can also join the group chat, attend ride-outs and attend the monthly club night meetings.

Can I join a ride out / activity if I haven’t had any training?

Please ensure that you speak with the ride leader/ organiser prior to the event to ensure they discuss how to behave on a club ride

What are the costs for the test?

What’s next after I pass my test?

There are a lot of group activities, committee roles and ride outs to get involved in, please see the website events page or contact a member of the committee who can advise you on next steps.

Once I pass my test, do I still have to pay annual club fees?

Once you have passed your test, you will become a member of RoSPA  HQ and there is a yearly fee of £40 to pay (this will then cover your retest in 3 years time). 

If you still wish to be a member of the local club after you have passed your test then local annual club fees also apply.

When are the annual club fees due?

Annual club fees are due in March / April each year. Anyone who has not paid by the end of April will be removed from the club members list.

How do I provide feedback to the group or if I am unhappy with any aspect of the club e.g. training, driving or riding standards or need to report a problem?
