This month’s session will focus on the Roadcraft I AM SAFE principles, exploring how our physical and mental condition can affect our riding and decision-making on the road.
We’ll look at each element of the I AM SAFE checklist: Illness, Attitude, Medication, Sleep, Alcohol, Food and Emotion, discussing how these factors can influence observation, concentration, judgement and overall riding performance.

The presentation will be followed by an open discussion, giving members the opportunity to share experiences, discuss real-world scenarios and consider how honest self-assessment can help us all become safer and more effective riders.

This promises to be a particularly valuable evening for newer members as they develop their understanding of Roadcraft and advanced riding principles. It is also an excellent opportunity for existing members to meet our recent joiners, share their experiences and contribute to what should be a lively and engaging discussion.

Whether you’re an Associate, Full Member, Observer or simply interested in improving your riding, we’d encourage you to come along and take part.
